NAFA Library provides a range of resources and services to support the teaching and research needs of faculty staff.
NAFA full-time faculty staff may borrow reference books from the NLB Lee Kong Chian Reference Library using the NLB Corporate Membership card.

If a journal article you want for teaching or research purposes is not available at the NAFA Library, we can source it for you from another library or information provider.
Each eligible requestor is allocated a share of the budget for this service. Once it is used up, the requestor will have to bear the cost of the article.

Can’t find a book you are looking for in NAFA Library?
NAFA full-time faculty staff may borrow a maximum of 10 books directly from LASALLE Library after registering for a member account at the LASALLE library counter. The loan quota for part-time/adjunct staff is 5 books.
Full-time faculty staff may request us to borrow it from the NUS Libraries or NLB.
Such loan requests are restricted to materials related to work, teaching and research.
Charges may apply and the requestor must collect and return the loan item from/to the lending library, and is responsible for any damage, loss, or overdue fines.

Our library has 3 discussion rooms on level 7. Bookings can be made at level 6 Circulation Counter, on a first-come-first-served basis.

A quiet study space for students, it is also equipped with a laptop, sound system, projector with screen, interactive panel, and Blu-ray player for teaching small classes.

NAFA faculty staff may recommend books, scores, journals, and e-resources that are required for teaching purposes, to the Library for purchase.
Print materials ordered are normally delivered to the library in approximately 4 to 6 weeks’ time.

The library conducts orientation/ induction workshops for new students at the beginning of each academic year. These sessions provide an introduction to the library’s web portal, webopac, and various e-resources, along with basic citation skills.
Research workshops tailored to students’ project topics are also available to guide students in their search for relevant library resources. These workshops cover E-resources within and outside NAFA Library, as well as citation skills.
To schedule a workshop for your classes, please email your request to ls@nafa.edu.sg at least two weeks before your preferred date.
Reserve Collection (Green Spot)
NAFA faculty staff can request for selected books/periodicals/music scores to be placed in the reserve collection for 3-hour loan to provide students with timely access to recommended/required readings for their courses.
The overdue fine is S$0.50 per hour per item.
This collection is housed in the level 6 Compactus Room.

NAFA faculty staff can each borrow a maximum of 5 semester loan items for a period of up to 6 months for teaching and research purposes.
However, the semester loan is due on the last day of each term for part-time adjunct staff.
